Léonie Sonning Talent Prize 2022
Lorenzo Colombo is born in 1990 in Milano and is now living in Copenhagen. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in percussion from the Royal Danish Academy of Music. In addition to being a prize winner at DKDM for his reflection assignment “KONTAKTE – reflections towards a new chamber music practice”, he also won “Premio Nazionale delle Arti” (2011), The International Percussion Competition and Festival, Pavia Milano (2015) and DKDM’s soloist competition (2022). He is also a founder and member of the orchestras NEKO3, monoC and Seit Quartet.
