Erik Kolind

was born in 1985 and started his musical career in the Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir. In 2009 he completed the master’s programme in improvisation and organ at The Royal Danish Academy of Music. And in 2012 he completed the diploma programme in organ improvisation and music theory at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. Erik Kolind studies under Hans Davidsson in the soloist class at The Royal Danish Academy of Music. Alongside this, he is also assistant organist and choirmaster at Holmens Kirke in Copenhagen. His organ transcription of Mussorgsky’s A Night on a Bare Mountain is to be published by Doblinger in 2014.
