Antina Hugosson
started to play the violin at the age of four in Kristianstad, Sweden. During her violin studies at Malmö Academy of Music she played the baroque violin under Peter Spissky, later specialising in early music under Enrico Gatti and Ryo Terakado at The Royal Conservatory in The Hague, where she took her masters degree in 2009. Antina Hugosson is leading second violinist in Concerto Copenhagen. She has taken part in a number of CD recordings and plays in B’rock (Belgium), Holland Baroque Society (NL), New Dutch Academy (NL), Barokksolistene (Norway), Ensemble 1700 (SV) and Ensemble Zimmermann (DK).
Scholarship from the Léonie Sonning Music Foundation
The scholarship of Kr. 60,000 used to purchase three copy bows from the 17th and 18th centuries and for violin maintenance by the violin-maker Willibrord Crijnen in France.
